Get to know SOLO’s Impact Assessment Framework!
Now available as a separate webpage on SOLO’s website, you can find the project’s Impact Assessment Framework, which allows for the evaluation of 5 types of impact of Mission Soil Research and Innovation (R&I) activities, each assessed by several Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
What is the Impact Assessment Framework?
The Impact Assessment Framework is designed to evaluate the real-world effects of Mission Soil research and innovation activities across society, the economy, policy, and practice. This adaptable tool supports Mission Soil projects in monitoring and evaluation, with future potential for ex-ante assessment and project design. Beyond defining key components, qualitative indicators, quantitative metrics, and impact narratives, SOLO also outlines the mechanisms needed to effectively implement the framework in practice.
The Framework presents 5 types of Mission Soil R&I impacts:
- Project impact in practice
- Project impact on policy and administration
- Project impact on value chain organisation and practices
- Broader societal impact
- Impact on research and innovation
Within each category, you will find a number of fact sheets, either quantitative or qualitative in essence, available for download!
