Second Regional Nodes workshop in Hungary takes place

On 06 March 2025, the second Regional Nodes workshop in Hungary took place, providing a forum for regional stakeholders to address issues related to the region’s knowledge gaps.

The meeting began with a round of introductions by each stakeholder outlining their organisation's background, followed by iASK's recap of the previous workshop’s results. The main discussion focused on the knowledge gaps chosen during the first workshop, with participants sharing opinions on their regional relevance. The discussion took place in a plenary session format, allowing stakeholders to interact with one another, actively sharing views and reflections. Participants were invited to indicate which knowledge gaps they found most relevant and share if they found any to be missing from the list. The difference in approaches per stakeholder was made evident through the discussions, reflecting on their organisational affiliations and underlining the importance of the natural environment as being the basis of regional specificities.
