The SOLO Prevent Erosion Think Tank’s new report looks at ways to create, share, and use new knowledge. It stresses the need for joint research that evaluates the social and economic sides of erosion, alongside identifying and creating better tools for measuring and comparing data across different scales. Furthermore, the report emphasises that gathering real-world data from the field is essential to make models more reliable and to help people make better decisions about soil management.
