Soils for Europe Conference with another appearance in the EUSO Newsletter
The upcoming Soils for Europe Conference 2026 was highlighted in the latest newsletter from the European Soil Observatory (EUSO), bringing more attention to the event.
The conference is organised by several projects working under the EU Mission "A Soil Deal for Europe" and will take place from 7 to 11 September 2026 in the historic city of Coimbra, Portugal. Participants will have the opportunity to attend sessions on different themes, from reducing soil pollution to improving the way soil health is monitored.
There will be a session hosted by EUSO titled "Five Years On: Key Insights from the Mission Soil Program," which will look at what has been achieved so far and what steps are needed next to reach European soil goals.
While the conference showcases work from EU-funded projects, it is open to all researchers, practitioners, and interested stakeholders.
If you are interested in joining the conversation in Coimbra, you can register through the conference website.
