This unified guide, titled Outlook 2025: Soil Health R&I Knowledge Gaps, serves as a central resource mapping out what Europe still needs to discover and test to make its soil healthier.

The overarching roadmap highlights exactly where scientific and practical knowledge is missing across the EU. It points to the specific research and innovation required to protect underground life, boost agricultural resilience, and restore degraded areas. Ultimately, the Outlook is designed to support the EU Mission Soil objectives.
