On 7 January 2025, SOLO partner, National Resources Institute of Finland (Luke), hosted an interactive session at the Finnish Soil Sciences Days, organised bi-yearly by the National Soil Science Society in Finland. 

The session was accompanied by a poster presentation on the SOLO project and, more specifically, the Think Tanks, leading to a lively discussion on the prioritisation of the Think Tank on Soil Structure. 

Other notable discussions were centred around the topics of soil structure, soil carbon, soil biodiversity, and soil literacy. Over 70 participants were present and active, with several expressing interest in joining the stakeholder groups for different Think Tanks. Various soil monitoring law methods and knowledge gaps were discussed.
